Recipe
How the calculator works
Pick a recipe, then enter the prices you see in your game or use static reference values. The ingredient price component updates as you type.
Pricing a whole menu? The calculator covers 193 recipes and 819 default ingredient slots. 36 recipes are player-only and are treated as not yet confirmed for a venue menu.
How the Native Meal Base Price Works
The rule behind the result, in plain terms.
Ingredients
Sum the current market price of the ingredients used.
+ Cooking
Add the cooking-price component for the processing used.
= Meal base price
The amount the game derives before a menu price is set.
Base price is calculated by the game
A meal's base price is not a fixed item value. The game builds it from the ingredients used and the cooking involved.
Ingredient prices are dynamic
Ingredient prices move with the economy, so the same recipe can have a different base price on a different day.
Cooking adds a price component
The game adds a cooking-price component based on how many processing stations the recipe requires.
Drinks cook differently
Drinks use a higher cooking-price multiplier than other recipes, so the same setup can base-price differently for a drink.
What This Number Represents
The calculator compares a recipe's ingredient-price and cooking-price components with your chosen menu price.
Ingredient component is exact
It is the sum of the prices you enter (or the static reference values), so it is only as current as the prices you use.
Base price is not production cost
The game's meal base price is a pricing anchor, not the amount you actually spent acquiring ingredients.
Menu price minus base price is a spread
It is a price spread, not profit. It does not include wages, rent, spoilage or order volume.
Venue operating costs are separate
Wages, rent, waste and other venue finance are not allocated to a single recipe here. Daily venue profit is a separate, venue-level figure.
