Popular travel tasks
How travel planning works
The route rule and the data boundary, in plain terms.
Location network, not a map
Locations are connected by directed travel connections. The planner follows those connections and counts how many location transitions a route needs.
Route is not fast travel
A connected route does not mean you can quick travel there right now. The planner only shows the static network.
Why a route may not work right now
Progression, visited locations, your current game state and curfew can all change what is available. Those belong to the Fast Travel Checker.
